All data transmitted between your browser and a2jl's servers is protected by 256-bit TLS encryption — the same standard used by Philippine banks. Data stored in a2jl's systems is encrypted at rest with access controls limiting visibility to authorized personnel only. We conduct regular security reviews to maintain these standards.
As a data subject under RA 10173, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and object to the processing of your personal data. a2jl provides mechanisms to exercise each of these rights. Requests are handled within 30 days. We will not process your data in ways that go beyond what you have consented to or what is required by law.
a2jl does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We share data with selected service providers — payment processors, game studios, KYC providers — solely to the extent necessary to operate the Platform. All third-party data processors are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
a2jl retains your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, or resolve disputes. Once the retention period expires, data is securely deleted or anonymized. We do not hold personal data indefinitely as a matter of practice.
a2jl operates in full compliance with Republic Act 10173 — the Data Privacy Act of 2012 — and its Implementing Rules and Regulations as administered by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines. Filipino players have the full suite of rights conferred by RA 10173 in respect of their data held by a2jl.
READ THIS POLICY: This Privacy Policy forms part of the a2jl Terms and Conditions and is incorporated by reference. By registering an account or using the a2jl Platform, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy and consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described herein. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must not use the a2jl Platform.
The data controller responsible for the personal data of a2jl Platform users is a2jl Gaming Club, operator of the online gaming platform accessible at a2jl.app. As the data controller, a2jl determines the purposes and means by which your personal data is processed in connection with your use of the Platform.
a2jl has appointed a Data Protection Officer ("DPO") as required under RA 10173 for personal information controllers of significant scale or sensitivity. Contact details for the a2jl DPO are provided in Section 14 of this Policy. The DPO is responsible for overseeing a2jl's data protection obligations and serving as the primary point of contact for data subject rights requests and privacy-related inquiries.
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data collected from individuals who: (a) register an account on the a2jl Platform; (b) access or browse the a2jl Platform as a visitor without registering; (c) contact a2jl through its customer support channels; or (d) participate in any a2jl promotional activity.
This Policy applies regardless of the device or method used to access the Platform — whether via a mobile browser on a Philippine Smart, Globe, or DITO network, via a desktop browser, or via any other access method. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be linked from the Platform, which are governed by their own privacy policies.
Philippine Law Applies: This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with Republic Act 10173 — the Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Philippines — and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. The National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines is the supervisory authority with jurisdiction over a2jl's personal data processing activities.
a2jl collects the following categories of personal data in the course of operating the Platform and providing services to registered players:

a2jl does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined under RA 10173 — such as health information, religious beliefs, or political affiliations — except where this is incidentally disclosed in government ID documents submitted for KYC purposes, in which case such data is used solely for identity verification and held securely.
The majority of personal data a2jl holds about you is information you have provided directly to us. This includes information submitted during account registration, information provided when completing KYC verification, details entered when initiating or receiving payments, and any information you share when contacting customer support.
When you access the a2jl Platform, certain technical and usage data is collected automatically by our systems. This includes your IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, pages visited, session duration, and game activity data. This data is collected using standard web server logs, session cookies, and analytics tools operated solely for Platform improvement and security purposes.
In limited circumstances, a2jl may receive personal data about you from third parties. This includes: identity verification data from KYC service providers confirming the authenticity of documents you have submitted; payment confirmation data from GCash, PayMaya, or banking partners confirming the status of your transactions; and fraud prevention data from third-party risk screening services used to protect the Platform and its players.
a2jl processes your personal data for the following specific purposes:
No Marketing Profiling: a2jl does not use your personal data to build marketing profiles for sale to advertisers. If a2jl sends you promotional communications about a2jl's own products or services, this will only occur where you have provided affirmative consent, and you may withdraw consent at any time by contacting support.
Under RA 10173, all processing of personal data must have a lawful basis. a2jl processes your personal data on the following legal bases:
a2jl shares personal data with third-party service providers who process data on a2jl's behalf and under a2jl's instructions as data processors. These include: payment processing partners (GCash, PayMaya, banking partners); KYC and identity verification service providers; cloud hosting and infrastructure providers; game studio partners for live dealer and RNG game delivery; and customer support platform providers. All data processors are required to maintain appropriate security standards and process data solely for the purposes instructed by a2jl.
a2jl may disclose personal data to government authorities, regulatory bodies (including PAGCOR and the Anti-Money Laundering Council), law enforcement agencies, or courts where required to do so by Philippine law or by a lawful order. a2jl will, where legally permissible, notify you of such disclosure requests.
a2jl does not and will not sell, rent, license, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own independent marketing or commercial purposes. This is an unconditional commitment.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets involving a2jl, personal data held by a2jl may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the acquiring entity assuming the same data protection obligations contained in this Policy. You will be notified of any material change in data controller arising from a business transfer.

At the expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized so that it can no longer be attributed to an identified individual.
a2jl implements technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the personal data it holds, and to the risks presented by unauthorized access, accidental loss, destruction, or damage. These measures include:
Data Breach Notification: In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and interests, a2jl will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected data subjects in accordance with the timelines prescribed by RA 10173 — within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach to the NPC, and without undue delay to affected individuals where the breach is likely to cause serious harm.
Under Republic Act 10173, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data held by a2jl. These rights may be exercised by contacting the a2jl Data Protection Officer using the details in Section 14.
Request a copy of the personal data a2jl holds about you, and information about how it is processed.
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data held in your a2jl account.
Request deletion of your personal data where processing is no longer necessary or lawful, subject to legal retention obligations.
Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling. a2jl will cease such processing unless compelling grounds override your objection.
Receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, where technically feasible.
Withdraw consent for processing based on consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines if you believe a2jl has not complied with RA 10173.
Claim compensation for damages sustained as a result of inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unlawful processing of your personal data by a2jl.
Response Time: a2jl will respond to all data subject rights requests within 30 calendar days of receipt. In complex cases, this period may be extended by a further 30 days with prior notification. a2jl will not charge a fee for processing data subject rights requests unless they are manifestly unfounded, repetitive, or excessive.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit the a2jl Platform. a2jl uses cookies and similar technologies (including session tokens and local storage objects) to operate the Platform, maintain your logged-in session, remember your preferences, and analyze Platform usage patterns.
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. Disabling essential cookies will impair Platform functionality and may prevent you from logging in or completing transactions. a2jl does not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.
The a2jl Platform is strictly restricted to individuals who are 21 years of age or older, in accordance with Philippine gaming law. a2jl does not knowingly collect personal data from persons under 21 years of age. If a2jl becomes aware that personal data has been collected from a person under 21, that account will be immediately closed and all associated personal data will be deleted from a2jl's systems, subject only to mandatory legal retention obligations that cannot be overridden.
If you believe that a person under 21 years of age has registered an a2jl Account, please contact a2jl's Data Protection Officer immediately using the contact details in Section 14.
a2jl may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, applicable law, or PAGCOR regulatory requirements. When material changes are made, a2jl will notify registered players via a notice within the Platform or by SMS to your registered Philippine mobile number. The date of the most recent revision is always displayed at the top of this Policy.
Continued use of the a2jl Platform following notification of a revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree with a revised Policy, you should cease using the Platform and request account closure.
